I picked my 12 year old up from basketball recently and he told me that they were daring each other to do the "ole stick your tongue to metal thingie". . .kids:)
So very funny! That's how our last year's winter went. Hope your weather turns for the better. At least you have beautiful pictures from all the weather.
That is indeed a lot of snow! We're currently getting a bit of snow here too! Though when I say "a bit" I mean like an inch or two since it tends to melt before it actually hits the ground.
That last picture has me cracking up :) I hope they don't really have their tongue stuck there!
Hi there! My name is Emily. I'm a wife and mother of 3. I'm here to explore new ideas, share my adventures and learn from all of you.
Words are a combination of letters. Rooms are complimented by accessories. Homes are made from families. I guess what I'm trying to say is that while there are grand moments in life, 'everyday' life is really about the little things - the ABC's... a smile, a hug, a kind gesture, a cookie, a treasure found on sale : ), a project that you completed yourself, a ray of sunshine through the clouds. It's the little things that get us through the day. Maybe together we can find some little adventures to pursue! Things that bring us a little joy and happiness! Who couldn't use more joy and happiness?!
Glad you joined me today! Hope you'll return again. Blessings!

You have some amazing snow and ice photos. It has been a year for snow...all over the country.
Nice photo of the kids. Here's hoping the mailbox is plasic.
I'm cold just looking at these pictures! The ice in that third picture is amazing and beautiful in a way. Now go tell your kids not to do that!
Wow! Those are beautiful pictures! I love the iced over look. It's all sunny over here, I am wishing I had some snow and a nice fireplace :)
Thanks for stopping by!

Too cold for words...! And I can still remember the pain of getting my tongue stuck on a balcony railing when I was 7!
Can't believe all the blogs featuring snow and ice and cold.
Makes me grateful I love in California.
(sorry)
=)
Tee hee...very cute models! Love the ice pics!

I stuck my tongue on a frozen metal ice cube tray when I was a kid. Not one of my prouder moments either. LOL!~Ames
That made me laugh! I must have left bits of my tongue on a number of metal railings and swing set before I was six years old. :)
I am laughing and I am in awe of your gorgeous photos. Now I hope it melts soon. ;)
I have always been enchanted by the transformation that ice brings to ordinary objects.
I used to stand outside and watch the sun change the tree branches after an ice storm back in Ohio.
This was a really enchanting, albeit chilly, link to Alphabe-Thursday's letter "R".
Thank you for linking.
A+
I agree. Too much snow and I'm ready for spring! But you're photos are very nice! They make the ice look pretty : )
